**User Compliance Policy**
This User Compliance Policy ("Policy" or "UCP") is part of your agreement with Cloud Misr, governed by Egyptian law ("Cloud Misr"), for the provision of services ("Services") as specified in the Service Order. The purpose of this Policy is to protect Cloud Misr’s customers from irresponsible or illegal activities. The Policy outlines prohibited actions and Cloud Misr reserves the right to modify the Policy at any time, with changes taking effect upon notification. Cloud Misr retains the authority to interpret, apply, and enforce this Policy.
**Overview**
**Prohibited Activities**
**1. Illegal Activities**
Using Cloud Misr Services for illegal activities is strictly forbidden. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Making death threats or terroristic threats
- Threatening harm to others
- Engaging in multi-level marketing or Ponzi schemes
- Invasion of privacy
- Committing credit card fraud or racketeering
- Defamation and slander
**2. Offensive Content**
You may not use Cloud Misr Services to distribute content that:
- Involves adult content, such as pornography or bestiality
- Encourages violence, threatens violence, or contains harassing content or hate speech
- Is deceptive under Egyptian consumer protection laws
- Is defamatory or violates a person’s privacy
- Poses a risk to personal or public safety or health
- Compromises national security or interferes with law enforcement investigations
- Exposes trade secrets or confidential information
- Aids in bypassing copyright protections
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Promotes illegal drugs or gambling, or involves illegal arms trafficking
- Is otherwise illegal or solicits illegal conduct
- Is malicious or fraudulent, or may provoke retaliation against Cloud Misr
**3. Denial of Service (DoS and DDoS) Attacks**
Cloud Misr prohibits using its services or network for initiating or controlling denial of service (DoS) or distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks.
**4. Server Abuse**
Server abuse includes, but is not limited to:
- Unauthorized access to servers or accounts
- Accessing data or services without consent
- Tampering with security measures
- Transmitting harmful software
- Monitoring data or traffic without authorization
- Interfering with service delivery
**5. IRC and Proxies**
Operating IRC, Egg Drops, BNC, or IRC bots, as well as proxy servers of any kind, whether for personal or business use, is not allowed.
**6. Game Servers**
Hosting game servers (dedicated game server programs) is not permitted.
**7. Fraudulent Activities**
Engaging in fraudulent activities using Cloud Misr Services is prohibited and violates Egyptian law.
**8. Distribution of Malware**
Cloud Misr prohibits storing, distributing, fabricating, or using malware, including viruses, root kits, password crackers, adware, and keystroke capture programs. Exceptions are made for legitimate security companies analyzing malware.
**9. Phishing**
Phishing activities or systems designed to collect personal information under false pretenses are strictly prohibited.
**10. High Yield Investment Plans (HYIP) or Ponzi Schemes**
Hosting, linking, or advertising HYIP or Ponzi schemes intended to defraud users is illegal and not allowed on the network.
**11. Vulnerability Monitoring and Testing**
Probing, scanning, penetrating, or testing the vulnerability of Cloud Misr systems or networks without express written consent is prohibited.
**12. IP Address Usage**
You may only use IP addresses assigned to you by Cloud Misr in connection with your services. If your assigned IP addresses are listed on an abuse database, you will be in violation of this UCP.
**13. Bulk and Unsolicited Mail**
Sending bulk mail (more than 250 recipients) or unsolicited email without a pre-existing relationship with the recipient is prohibited.
**14. Message Source**
Obscuring the source of your email by omitting, forging, or misrepresenting message headers or return addresses is not allowed.
**15. Email Abuse Complaints**
Complaints from email recipients and third-party abuse agencies are considered valid unless you provide compelling evidence to the contrary. Cloud Misr may terminate your mail service if excessive or repeated complaints are received.
**16. Blacklisting and Retaliation**
Cloud Misr may terminate your services if your email address or related IP numbers are blacklisted or if Cloud Misr faces retaliation due to your use of the mail system.
**17. UseNet SPAM**
Using dedicated services to send, receive, forward, or post unsolicited UseNet email or posts is a direct violation of this UCP.
**18. Contact Information**
You must maintain valid and current information with your domain name registrar for any domain hosted on the Cloud Misr network.
**19. Cloud Misr Administrative Access**
To facilitate efficient server management, Cloud Misr servers may include administrative accounts and passwords. You must not tamper with these tools. If you resell or rent Cloud Misr Services, you are responsible for ensuring third-party compliance with this UCP and providing accounting and support to your end customers.
**20. Disclosure to Law Enforcement**
Cloud Misr may be required by law to provide customer information to law enforcement officials upon receiving a valid subpoena or court order. Cloud Misr will notify customers of such requests to the extent permitted by law.
**Reporting Violations**
Reports of alleged UCP violations can be submitted via Report Abuse. Reports must include the name, contact information, IP address, and description of the violation. Cloud Misr will review all verified reports and take appropriate action.
**Resolution Process**
The resolution process aims to mitigate service interruptions and resolve potential violations. It includes:
1. **First Alleged Violation:** A ticket is generated with information about the potential violation and required actions.
2. **Acknowledgement of Violation:** A ticket is generated with specific details of the violation and required actions.
3. **Disregarded or Continuing Violation:** Public network access may be turned off until the violation is addressed.
4. **Failure to Address Violation:** Services may be suspended if the violation is not resolved, potentially leading to permanent suspension and data destruction.
**Disclaimer**
CloudMisr reserves the right to refuse new service to any individual, group, or business, and to discontinue service for excessive or repeated violations. No credit is available under CloudMisr’s Service Level Agreement for service interruptions resulting from UCP violations.
